Country Manager – Purchasing & SalesDescribe the journey of Inrego in Finland?
My journey started as a country manager for Finland, with an interesting challenge to set up the Finnish branch in 2020. During that time we had no actual team, customers, partners or facility in Finland and we needed to create many processes around that.
All this started in the middle of the Covid19 pandemic and it meant that the team in Sweden and Finland needed to be very innovative when building the whole precense in a new country.
The production facility was founded in Vantaa near the airport and works as a very good logistic location for our purposes. After 12 months from the start we already had a team of around 10 people doing sales and production tasks and all works very smoothly.
We have been able to activate lot of B2B customers, partners and other co-operation models that makes sure we will grow with controlled steps and can build our readiness for expansion.
First phase of the Finnish operations were to set up our buyback operations and in the end of 2022 build the sales At the same time we put more focus on local marketing visibility and to optimize the Finnish webshop.
Our support functions are mainly located in Sweden and we have a great culture supporting cross border activities. The team is continously expanding and we have a very good team doing sales and also lots of expertise on the production site.
We can provide a sustainable solution now also in Finland and it´s always great to see that our customers are happy to continue working with us.
